Lead India 2020 US chapter is launched by our beloved people’s president Barath Rratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on 26-03-2008 in New York, many of the representatives of various associations and intellectual attended the programme.

 Prof. Dr. N.B. Sudershan Acharya introduced Lead India 2020, 2nd National Movement, it’s aims, objectives and activities. He explained that Lead India 2020 is working with the aim to transform India in to a developed country by 2020. The youth which constitutes 60 % of India’s population need to be ignited through training “Aap Bado Desh Ko Badao” and developed as vibrant peer group leaders Dr. Abdul Kalam is our guide and inspiration with his vision 2020.

All the participants of the programme expressed their interest & willingness to be a proud member of Lead India 2020 and take initiations in conducting activities of Lead India in India as well as in U.S.A.

 Shri Venkatesh Mutyala, gave the introductory address and invited Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, with due respects to the stage.

Hatim Tyabji, Executive Chairman of Byte mobile, said that he was inspired by Prof. Sudarshan Acharya and  happy to lead the organization’s activities in Gujarat and Maharashtra.  Ravi Koneru, USA coordinator of Lead India 2020, expressed his wish to coordinate the assistance of  the NRIs  to achieve the aims of Lead India 2020. Darisi Pavan Kumar, New York-based industrialist and head of Darisi Foundation,  introduced Prof. Sudarshan Acharya, Founder and National Coordinator of Lead India 2020 Movement, to the members of the meeting and expressed his plans to implement Lead India 2020 training schedule to the youth of Prakasam District in Andhra Pradesh.

 Dr.Madhu Korrapati personally invited the members of various associations and  took pains to make the meet a success.  Dr.Kalam personally spoke and appreciated the active participation of  Darisi Pavan Kumar, Madala Ravi, Lal Motwani, Venkatesh Mutyala, Dr.Madhu Korrapati and others. Kakarala Prabhakara Chowdhury, president of TANA  and Dr. Chandra Reddy Gavva, President of  ATA announced their support to the Lead India 2020 programs.  Prof.  Sudarshan Acharya conveyed his thanks to Object One Information Systems Ltd.
