Extract from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's speech
The Five minds* a) The disciplinary mind: mastery of mind schools of thought including science mathematics and history and proficiency in at least one professional craft.
b) The synthesizing mind: ability to integrate ideas from different disciplines or spheres into a coherent whole and to communicate to others.
c) The creative mind: capacity to uncover and clarify new problems, questions and phenomenon.
d) The respectful mind: awareness of and application for differences among human beings
e) The ethical mind: fulfillment of one’s responsibility as a worker and a citizen. He also spoke on the four aspects of knowledge namely creativity, righteousness, courage and indomitable spirit. That the combination of these characteristics can generate .

guest of honour.

General President Sri. D.J. Ramesh welcomed the distinguished guests present. he appreciated the efforts of National Coordinator Dr. N.B. Sudershan's efforts in transforming Dr. A.P.J. Abdul kalam's dreams into reality. He also welcomed the correspondents, Principals, teachers , students and Lead India youth leaders and volunteers.
Justice Eashwaraiah called on citizens to realise the importance of fundamental duties for individual development contribute to the national development. He also called upon people to work to eradicate corruption and illiteracy.
Hon. speaker Sri. Suresh Reddy called the students to work of development of the country as world leader. He advised the students to concentrate on their future and career and then work for the development of the country.
Hon. Minister for Mines Sri. Maganti Babu appealed to students to take Dr. Kalam as inspiration and role model and grow as noble citizens of India
LEAD India has already trained 30,000 youth in Medak with a plan to reach 100,000, and a similar number in all 23 districts in the state".
