ESSAY COMPETITIONS

Lead India 2020 Foundation has been conducting Essay Competitions for young minds since 2003, the inception year. The Topics for the Essay Writing Competition have been “My Goal for my Development”, “My Scientific Ideas/Contribution to make India a world leader by 2020″, etc. The essays are being written in English, Telugu or Urdu. Now that the Tamilnadu and Karnataka chapters are born and being incubated, essays in Tamil and Kannada also will be encouraged.

The School and College Students across the State of Andhra Pradesh have been participating in these Essay Competitions with enthusiasm and several ideas and issues are being dealt with. During these seven years, nearly, four lakhs students and teachers both from the schools and colleges from the various regions of State of Andhra Pradesh have taken part in these Essay Writing Competitions.

The effect of the Essay Writing Competition on these important topics on the various cross-sections of the people may be briefly summed up as follows:

STUDENTS: A new opportunity to think about themselves, set short/long term goals, be aware of the various aspects of their personality and develop themselves.

TEACHERS: Enthusiasm of students triggers a fresh spirit among teachers who judge the creative ideas of the students for a Developed India by 2020.

PARENTS: When the students approach their parents and discuss the contents of the essay, they ignite the idea of ‘Developed India 2020′ in them also.

GENERAL: The conduct of this Essay Competition involves various Government Departments, Schools, Colleges and other higher Institutions of learning besides Non Governmental Organisations and a whole lot of other people, who work enthusiastically to support the Youth for the cause of Nation Building. The seeds of Developed India have been sown in the Children, Youth and all other people involved in the Essay Writing Competition. The students writing the essays have not only been ignited by the concept of Developed India but they have also been instrumental in igniting this concept in the teachers, officials, parents and others involved in conducting the national Movement Essay Writing Competition.
